I recently purchased the SGX and like most people had a problem trying to register the product. When I tried to sync on my computer with Windows 7 and 64 bit, I never did get it to sync, so I took it to office and was able to work on my XP machine. The have a temporary fix for Windows 7, but real fix will come shortly.

I’ll admit it…I tried a cheaper product made by Garmin. It locked up every three or four rounds. After trying three units I gave up and bought the SG5. It works great. The color screen is very easy to read in the sun. The charge lasts longer than I expected, usually three full rounds at least. My only complaint is that it’s a little bigger than some of it’s competitors. You can’t slip it into your pocket to take a swing. But I’ve used it for six months and it’s performed flawlessly.

What Is The BiggestLargest Differences Between Products From SkyCaddie Golf And All The Other GPs Systems?

When you start thinking about getting the proper equipment and proper things that you need to improve your golf game you will need to get yourself a yardage device.  Not only will this help you on the course, but it will also help your practice sessions and it will help to improve your entire game.  One big part of making this decision is to know the difference between SkyCaddie golf and all the other yardage devices that are out there for you to choose from.  You need to know what to get for yourself and which product might be the one for you.

If you get yourself a rangefinder you can get a yardage to the pin from anywhere on the course where you can see the pin.  You can gain a lot of confidence and take out a lot of the guess work if you know hte correct yardages.  This is something that can literally take 5 strokes off your golf game and can do so in a hurry.  It only takes a few shots from a similar yardage to start figuring out exactly how far you can hit certain shots that you did not even know you had in your bag.

A rangefinder is a great tool, but SkyCaddie golf is another option you can choose and it has some benefits you cannot get from any other yardage device.  One of the greatest benefits about using a SkyCaddie system is that you get all the yardages to the front, back, and middle of the green along with to the pin.  It will also show you the yardage to hazards, bunkers, and anything else you might need to avoid.  You will have a better chance to pick your spots and end up right where you want to be.

The choice is clearly yours and you can go with a rangefinder or a SkyCaddie golf system.  Both of the tools are great and will help you out, but you need to make the decision whether you want to shoot yardages or if you want to just look at a screen and see what you are dealing with.  This is an easy way to start shaving strokes off your game and giving yourself the edge you need to beat everybody in your foursome and in any tournaments you play in.
